International Tourism Port Kampot is financed by an $8 million loan from the Asian Development Bank and will accommodate about one million tourists and passengers. It will be an important international gateway by sea, connecting tourists to the southern islands and connecting Kampot province of Cambodia to the world. It will also promote the development of tourism and related sectors in Kampot province, Bokor mountain resort and Cambodia's coastal destinations. It is located on 4 hectares in Teuk Chhou district, about 6 km west of Kampot town. It will have a water depth of 4.5 meters and a length of 300 meters. It is built to international standards and will handle 300 to 400 passengers per trip. The port is also part of a project to develop tourism infrastructure for sustainable growth in the Greater Mekong Sub region.

Tourism Port
